Scottish Historic Buildings Trust (SHBT) is a charitable organisation founded in 1985 to preserve, for the benefit of Scotland, buildings of historical, architectural, constructional, national or local interest SHBT operates as a revolving fund building preservation trust (BPT) and considers projects throughout Scotland. As a revolving fund trust, any surplus generated by one project goes to help seed fund the next project.
